Enveloc is very concerned about protecting the privacy of its customers, vendors, and partners. Toward this end, Enveloc has taken a number of steps to ensure the privacy of confidential information that is provided to us. Enveloc does not rent, sell, or share personal or organizational information about our customers, vendors, referral representatives, and/or partners with other people or nonaffiliated companies. Enveloc does provide extensive safeguards to protect our customers' information from unauthorized access. In addition Enveloc maintains the confidentiality of customer information when undertaking projects with other companies.
Organizational and personal information that is provided to Enveloc by the customer
On valuecomm.com a customer may be asked to provide organizational and/or personal information in order to receive information about a Enveloc product or service. The information that the customer provides to Enveloc includes company name, contact name, complete address, phone and fax numbers, as well as email address. This information is required in order for us to respond accurately and quickly to a customer inquiry on valuecomm.com. The customer's information will be used only to send information about Enveloc products to the customer making the inquiry on valuecomm.com.
In addition during the actual setup of Enveloc Remote Backup on the customer's computer, the customer will input their company name, contact name, complete address, phone and fax numbers, and email address into specified fields within the software. Also during setup of Remote Backup, the customer will input their billing information which may include the customer's credit card information. Within Enveloc Remote Backup, the customer's contact information will be used only for the purposes of maintaining the customer's account on Enveloc?s backup servers. Furthermore, the customer's billing information is securely transmitted to Enveloc, and this information is used only for billing the customer for their Enveloc product.
Cookies
Internet browsers have features that are known as cookies. Cookies store small amounts of data on your computer about your visit to valuecomm.com. However, cookies do not provide us with personal information about the customer. In addition the customer may choose to not allow cookies to be collected by selecting options on his or her browser.
Information Security
Enveloc customers' backup data is securely encrypted with a 12-48 character password that is known only to the customer. Enveloc personnel are unable to access a customer's backup password. In addition when customer data is being transmitted via the Internet it is further encrypted with a 168-bit key Triple DES algorithm. Although Enveloc personnel can read the paths and names of files being stored under our system, necessary to provide restoration assistance, the data within those files is securely protected by the user password, to which Enveloc has no access.
